Enchanted Rock (ERock) was featured last month in a Houston Business Journal article. The article discusses ERock’s long-term agreement with Holly Hall Retirement Community to provide the On Demand Electric Reliability (ODER) service for Holly Hall’s Houston location. ERock will provide the backup power needed to make certain that the Holly Hall Retirement Community is a comfortable and safe place for its residents.

ERock Works with Current Senior Living Community Mandates

The article discusses how James Vasquez, an ERock senior sales executive, reached out to Holly Hall Retirement Community just as an update to their current system became necessary. “At the time, Holly Hall only had one backup power generator, which only powered the vital, red plug power for critical care purposes in the community’s nursing unit… while it hasn’t ever had to evacuate its residents, power outages mark a major interruption to its residents’ routines,” shared the Houston Business Journal article.

“Power reliability may be extra important this year, as the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released a report indicating that this is likely to be an above-average hurricane season in the Atlantic. The NOAA is forecasting a 70 percent chance of 11 to 17 named storms, five to nine hurricanes, with two to four of them becoming major hurricanes,” said the Houston Business Journal.
