Reinventing Electrical Resiliency for California

A reliable, clean, utility-grade backup power solution for large commercial and industrial facilities facing extended outages

Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) is the last line of defense from power line sparked fires. But there is a way to avoid the substantial impact from PSPS events lasting hours to days, while staying true to California’s clean energy commitment. Natural gas backup generators used in local microgrids are extremely clean compared to the most commonly used diesel generators – emitting less than 1% of common pollutants and operating with a continuous supply of fuel from underground piping infrastructure.

Microgrids can insulate users from grid outages by supplying utility grade power to local businesses and communities while complementing solar and storage. Enchanted Rock natural gas resiliency microgrids provide large organizations, such as manufacturing, water suppliers, hospitals and grocery stores, continuous power in the face of all type of grid risks. Over the past few years, during severe weather and natural disasters causing power outages lasting up to five days at multiple sites along the Gulf Coast, we maintained uninterrupted operations for our customers.
