Reinventing Electrical Resiliency for Healthcare
Reliable power can literally be a matter of life and death for healthcare facilities. Whether it is a national health crisis, a hurricane-induced grid outage, or a wildfire power safety shutoff, the next high impact event requires proactive business continuity planning and resilient mission-critical support.
The common “life safety loads and ICU” backup generator model may meet compliance standards, but it will not meet the needs of hospitals during cascading high-stress events and multi-day outages. A full facility emergency power system maintains comprehensive continuity of care in these circumstances to keep patients and staff safe and maintain normal business operations.
Proactive healthcare facilities focused on crisis-proofing operations are increasingly turning to resiliency microgrids to not only ensure the safety of the community they serve, but to eliminate avoidable financial loss from cancelled outpatient procedures and damaged supplies.
The Enchanted Rock Solution
The Enchanted Rock Managed Power Resiliency solution helps healthcare facilities reinvent how they approach electrical resiliency. We provide fully managed clean, natural gas-powered resiliency microgrids, support services, and flexible pricing options designed for fast, simple, and worry-free protection from extended grid outages. We supplement existing partial facility solutions for a cost-effective full facility solution. A partner you can trust, we have a proven track record of availability solutions backed by highly skilled personnel and advanced systems, resulting in low risk, predictable resiliency.
Clean Resilience with Natural Gas
Enchanted Rock’s natural gas fueled systems provides cleaner local emissions compared to diesel by orders of magnitude with practically no run limitations. During crisis situations, natural gas is readily available when diesel refueling is not always possible due to terminal supply shortages or over the road logistics. To address life safety requirements, our systems work with existing diesel and for new build designs natural gas with propane can be used in place of diesel to meet the on-site fuel storage requirement.
- Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and community
- Replace unreliable, costly to maintain diesel systems
- Avoid financial loss from damaged supplies or cancelled procedures
- Reduce CapEx and OpEx
