Houston, TX – June 3, 2024 – Enchanted Rock, a leader in microgrid solutions, today announced a major expansion in their resiliency offerings through a new division focused on expanding customer access to its proven power technologies. Enchanted Rock’s patented natural gas generator, previously available only as part of its fully managed microgrid solution, can now be directly purchased by customers for a variety of applications, including backup power, prime power, and merchant generation. Pete DiSanto, who has served as President of Operations at Enchanted Rock for the past 5 years, has been named Executive Vice President overseeing the new Products Division.
Enchanted Rock, recently recognized by Guidehouse Insights as the top resilience provider, has been deploying, operating, and maintaining a standardized fleet of generators with extensive monitoring of operational performance data for over a decade. With more than 1 million operational hours under intense conditions – from freezing winter storms to blazing summers to severe spring storms – these battle-tested gensets are field proven and now available for direct purchase.

Researchers at Climate Central have found that power outages in the past 10 years had increased by 64% compared with the previous decade.
