New facility expected to expand production capacity, support job creation, and strengthen supply chain resilience for critical infrastructure customers
HOUSTON, Feb. 18, 2026 — Prologis, a global leader in logistics real estate, has completed a full-building lease with Enchanted Rock, a recognized leader in onsite power generation and microgrid solutions, at its Legacy Point development in Cypress, Texas. The 407,302-square-foot, Class A facility marks the first delivery within the 350-acre master-planned park, which is expected to support more than 5 million square feet of industrial development. This is anticipated to expand Enchanted Rock’s production capacity to meet growing demand across the country from critical infrastructure customers, including utilities, retailers, and data centers.
Located in the Northwest Houston submarket, at 18501 Mound Road, the property features a cross-dock layout, 36-foot clear heights, abundant car and trailer parking and sustainability elements, including a solar-ready roof.
“We’re excited to expand our relationship with and welcome Enchanted Rock to Legacy Point,” said Hans Brindley, senior vice president and market officer for Prologis’ Houston operating portfolio. “This lease highlights the continued demand for modern, well-located logistics space and our commitment to developing facilities to support businesses operating in the Houston area. Delivering the first building at Legacy Point positions the park to support job creation in Northwest Houston and strengthen the region’s supply chains.”
Enchanted Rock’s new Legacy Point location will be a dedicated assembly, production, and testing hub for its natural gas generators. This new site reinforces Enchanted Rock’s commitment to the Houston region through long-term investment in local facilities and skilled talent. The expansion is expected to create new jobs spanning manufacturing, operations, and technical roles, including manufacturing technicians, electricians, quality and testing specialists, logistics and supply chain professionals, and operations and maintenance personnel.
“Our new facility strengthens our ability to scale production to meet growing demand while maintaining the quality control that supports reliable performance from our technologies,” said Paul Froutan, Chief Operating Officer at Enchanted Rock. “The Legacy Point location enables us to manage supply chain risk and deliver the power flexibility and resilience our customers rely on –– while balancing long-standing customer commitments with growing large-load demand.”
The expansion also strengthens Enchanted Rock’s fully integrated, end-to-end business model, which spans project origination and development, EPC (engineering procurement and construction), permitting, fuel strategy, operations and maintenance, energy market participation, and 24/7 monitoring through its Microgrid Control Center. This integrated approach enables faster delivery, secure fuel access, continuous operations, and reduced execution risk for customers facing grid constraints and outage exposure.
Colliers’ Robert L. Alinger and Wes Williams represented Prologis in the transaction.
Situated just off U.S. Route 290, with convenient access to the Houston metro area and broader Texas Triangle, Legacy Point presents a premier opportunity for businesses seeking connectivity, efficiency and visibility. The development is estimated to bring over 2,000 jobs to the community at full build out. Prologis is also making significant investments to enhance the area’s infrastructure with various projects such as regional detention and extensive roadway expansion nearly complete.
