While data centers have always been considered critical infrastructure, recent events are creating a new awareness of how they affect all corners of our economy. We as a global economy are in the midst of an explosion in the need for data access and connectivity – Office 365, online grocery delivery, video streaming services, home offices, online banking, and the Industrial internet of Things. The list goes on and on. As a result, not surprisingly, the data center industry is experiencing tremendous growth due to this demand, and resilient power and uninterrupted operations are critical to enabling this growth.
